Do you mean Giudecca? Venice?

I can't help with an answer, only getting the correct spelling into this thread. Have you searched here, with either spelling?

We've enjoyed leisurely lunches sitting outside at Harry's Dolce on the Guidecca. Great place to sit and watch the big boats come in and the food is pretty good.

WE stayed on the Guidecca in Venicr at La Calcina. They have a gorgeous floating deck restaurant called La Piscina but I can't recommend the food.

Ristorante Riviera, on the other hand, has fabulous food and while not inexpensive, we so enjoyed our meal we went back a second time and were not disappointed. I'm not sure if they're open for lunch and I know they're closed on Mondays but I highly recommend this place and also recommend making a reservation.

La Calcina is not on Giudecca island--it's on Zatterre in Dorsoduro and faces Giudecca island directly across the Giudecca canal.
