Hi, we will be landing in Venice on a Monday in a few weeks and driving to Ljubljana for my partners birthday who is Vegan.
We will be travelling over lunchtime. Can anyone recommend and nice scenic place to stop for lunch on or near that route?

Well according to rome2rio.com it takes about 2 1/2 hours from the airport to Ljubljana. Depending on what time you arrive at the airport, clear customs if you need to, get the car, you could googlemap it and see where you might be and zoom in on a travel site for that location. Or if you get into Venice very early you could even just stop for coffee on the road and be in Ljubljana for lunch.

Try All'Anfora in Terzo d'Acquileia. It says they serve vegan dishes. A local lady recommended this to us when we were on a bike trip in that area. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant. If you have time you can check out the Roman ruins at Acquileia. The basilica has a full floor of incredible mosaics. It is not far off your route at all.
