Luggage Storage in Florence

Does anyone know if there is a place where we can store our luggage, for the day, in the Florence train or bus station? We will be changing trains in Florence and wanted to visit a few of our favorite sites while there.

Thanks for any help

I have researched this because we are doing the same. YES, they do have a "luggage depot" at SMN Station. My computer crashed 8-X, so I lost all my e-mail correspondences with the guy who helped me on my queries including the Firenze Train info site :'(
Anyway, I printed the impt stuff.
Left luggage fares (for each bag):
- Euro 3.50 for the first 5 hours
- Euro 0.30/hour from 6th to 12th hour
- Euro 0.10 for any additional hour
Hope this helps.

Hi kellee,

Left luggage at Florence SMN is to your left as you face the big schedule board.

kellee, just be aware that by lunch time there could be a problem. All the storage lockers could be taken. The last time I was at the station there were upset travelers.

A friend of mine is head of the tourist association and she said this often happens. So maybe get the luggage there to store early morning.
