Luggage Storage at Gare du Nord
Does anyone have experience with the luggage storage at Gare du Nord? I need to store my luggage for part of a day. Please let me know your experience. Thanks!

There is a large luggage storage on the lower floor of the western end in the main concourse. Access is by a security check similar to the one of an airport. Lockers are of the self-serve pay-on-deposit kind.
Depending on the number of travellers, it may take up to half an hour to get past the security check and lock up your luggage, so plan ahead.
Enjoy your trip

Can anyone tell me whether this information is still valid? Our plane arrives at 6:10am and we can't check into our apartment until 2:00, so I was considering storing our luggage at the Gare du Nord as a good option. Have the mice now become expert pickpockets or have they all moved to another train station? We are staying near the Canal St. Martin, so storing lugguage at either the Gare du Nord or Gare de L'est seem to be the best option that I can find. Any suggestions?
