I saw that you can leave bags at the Zurich airport, but I can't find anywhwere wheather that service is available in the Geneva airport or the airport train station. Does anyone know?

Yes, it's available. There's attended left luggage and automatic baggage lockers.

The following site gives more details -
after translating the page, click on FAQ, then click on left luggage.

The attended luggage area and the lockers are located downstairs (i.e., down an escalator from arrivals after you collect your luugage and go through customs) on the way to the train tracks. You can't miss them. If you need to buy train tickets, there are attended booths in this area as well.

Actually, the arrivals are on the lowest level at Geneva airport, so you'll have trouble finding a down escalator from there, except to access the train tracks in the train station...

Just follow the signs to the train station (turn left after passing through customs) and you'll get to the luggage check facility at the station, located right next to the ticket counters - no stairs, escalators or elevators to take.

Hope this helps,
Andre

I disagree Andre, the luggage check facilities I have used are down the escalators (yes on the same levels as the train departures) and there are ticket counters there as well.
