We are also planning trip #8 in May.....10nights in Paris and this time rather than just a day trip to Reims we are staying there for 3nights so that we can tour the smaller Champagne houses where we can interact and taste with the wine makers/owners because after all it is all about the French bubbly!

I've been to Versailles twice - and still didn't see it all.
Funny I was thinking about the Champagne region, or perhaps Chartres.
I seriously miss Paris. I didn't get there in 2011. Last night I went to bed dreaming about breakfast at the Cafe de Flore. And then dinner at l'Hotel.
And this will be my first time there in June! Previous trips I've been in Dec, Jan, March, May, July, and August. (And August was the least crowded).

I am RIGHT behind you - I did trip #12 about a year ago. Not sure when I'll get to lucky 13, though.
Congratulations! I love that feeling of being booked - you know it's real!
Funny, I went to bed dreaming about Paris last night, too. So much better for my brain - and sleep - than thinking about today's presentation. ;-)

ruedebuci.....I highly recommend Reims. The cathedral there is truly spectacular and a visit to Veuve Cliquot is worth the train ride. I myself haven't made it to Giverny (last 2 trips in Winter) and am dying to go. I hope to make it 13 times!

We're taking trip #10 (for DH) and #11 (me) in mid July. We've never been in high season. It will be a different experience. We are celebrating a big birthday and anniversary, so we plan a trip to Reims to sample champagne throughout the day. We haven't booked the airfare, but we have put down a deposit on our apartment.
We fly out of BOS and so far Air France is at $1232. As expected Icelandair is cheapest, but I just flew them last year and would really like to make this celebration vacation a bit more special than that.

I'm at 10 to Paris, another 6 to other parts of France without visiting Paris, and hoping to somehow keep it up until I have nothing left on my "Paris Next Time" list (which will probably never happen). When I returned from my latest trip, I edited the list, but there were more additions than deletions.
ruedebuci - If you want to do a daytrip, Chartres is amazing. Also Reims. Enjoy your 13th.
denisea - I have no doubt that many visits to France are in your future.
What is it about Paris that so entrances us?

I'm on the list--Paris is the best. We're planning #9 and I'm confident that we will get to #13. We went to
http://www.vaux-le-vicomte.com/en/index.php
on a day trip. Not as grand as Versailles, but interesting in it's own way.
