Lucca for two days?

I will have two days/nights after leaving Verona and before Florence. Had thought of spending them in Lucca. Is this a good idea, or could the time be better spent elsewhere in Tuscany?

Thanks for input.

Sure, Lucca is a good choice and easy to access. Try to eat at Buca di san Antonio--best in town.

I,too, recommend Buca....we had a fabulous two hour lunch there and could have stayed another hour easily...it's at the top of our list when we return in the fall...

Thanks to you all for your help. I know I'll enjoy it and I'm looking forward to riding a bike on the wall!
Also looking forward to Buca - thanks for that too.
