Louis Vuitton in Paris

I will be traveling to Paris March 7th-14th and would like to know where I can buy authentic Louis Vuitton handbags and other goods. And also, are there are any places that sell these items for less? If there is anyone that knows where, please respond. Thank you.
Galleries Lafayette has a Vuitton boutique. The prices are better than in the US but I don't know if there are actually places where you can get authentic Vuitton for "less".
And of course, there is the Vuitton store on rue de Rivoli or rue Faubourg St- Honore.
I do recommend looking through Hermes on Faubourg St-Honore

I believe I have read that there is only one price for LV--they destroy all "seconds" and apparently France has a very stringent law against "knockoffs".

There's one right on the Champs Elysees, near the Arc de Triomphe. You can get off at the George V metro station.

THE Louis Vuitton store in Paris is located on 54, Avenue Montaigne, 8th arr.
Be prepared for long lines (mostly Japanese).

Second best, is the shop-in-the-shop store at Le Bon Marche, Sevres-Babylone, 7th arr.

But, my choice would be Hermes as well. IMO, far more classy.

Personally, I don't like 'copies' of whatsoever. They mostly look cheapish and you can see they aren't the real ones.
Sometimes, just details, but you can see it.
I'd rather have a more affordable label such as Longchamp which are really as hip and trendy, especially the lightweight nylon bags. Terrific new spring colors.

I'm with the Hermes crowd, especially for the yummy and affordable enamel bangles.

Handbag-wise, though I love the classic Kelly and Birkin bags, they are so far out of my price range that it's hard to imagine I'll ever own one. I do like the Longchamp bags and I recently purchased a lovely, yet practical, nylon and leather bag from Lancel. I also like Didier Lamarthe bags.

Oh, but what I really wanted to add is that there is a Vuitton store next to Deux Magots, across from St. Germain.
