Looking for lodging in Millau, Roquefort, or St.-Affrique (Aveyron)

We want to visit Roquefort to see the caves. We plan to drive to that area from the Vaucluse viewing the Tarn Gorges en route. We would then spend the night in one of the three subject towns. The next day we'll visit the Roquefort caves and then drive back to the Vaucluse.

Does anyone have a specific recommendation where, one hopes, they have had actual recent experience?

Not all that recent, (my last stay there was in 1996) but I think you might like the Chateau de Creissels between Millau and St. Affrique, very close to Roquefort. Website is http://www.chateau-de-creissels.com/

Dear Looking,

I would also recommend the Chateau de Creissels, it's a bit "dusty" but full of atmosphere. We just arrived on spec and there didn't seem much else around Millau. The restaurant is good, but not as good as it thinks it is.
