Looking for Lake Como apartment please?

Wondering if any of the much travelled Fodorites know of any comfortable 2 bedroom apartments in Lake Como, available for a week in May, price up to, say, 400 Euro a night? Prefer close to lakeside, ferry and rail terminal if possible as won't have a car.

Are you sure you want the city of Como? I suggest you consider mid-lake--you can ferry from Como or train to Varenna from Milan.

I know it is a constraint that you dont have a car... but I just recently stayed at Bellagio (beside Lake Como). We had a super super great stay at La Limonera. We found this rental apartment from Fodor's and also I saw some other comments about it. I was there few days ago and we enjoyed our stay. I am sure if you can find a way to go there, you will LOVE IT FOR SURE!

Anyway, good luck and hope you find a good accomodation!

Thanks BobtheNavigator and PinkAddict. Really appreciate your help. However, we have stayed in Bellagio previously and particularly want to stay in Como itself this time. Shall hope someone knows of some ideal apartment, preferably closer to the station than not.

You say you want an apartment near the train station in Como, but there are multiple stations in the city. Were you planning day trips by train from Como? To where?

There are many apt rentals in Bellagio. www.bellagiolakecomo.com
You can use the ferry system for transportation.
