Long weekend trip
We have a four day weekend in May from school. We live in Dusseldorf. Give me your favorite 4-day weekend trips that you have been on, we have done Paris/AMS/ROME/BEL/Barcelona all the really popular places I see on the boards. We can drive, but prefer to fly. Would like some nice weather.

May ought to be nice weather pretty well anywhere in Europe.
You don't mention Venice, or is that getting too hot and crowded by then? Or what about going east or north - Budapest or Tallinn, say? Or a few days walking in some mountain scenery? I enjoyed (somewhat to my surprise) a few days in Stubaital in the Tirol:
