Mortell,
I read your last report when you posted that on Fodors, and I'm glad you had another marvelous trip! Can't believe those same women were staying at the same hotel as you! I'm guessing you didn't run into them again.
Any hopes of getting a trip report for Paris - was it your first trip? Can you believe that our group (3 girls) arrived into Paris the same day as you...small world. We stayed for 6 nights - could you believe how gorgeous the weather was during that week? I think you left before the crazy doomsday like storm came upon Paris on Friday evening.

Mortell,
It was like that saying - I sort of knew I would love Paris, but I didn't realize I would fall in love with it.
Our first trip was in 2002, and I loved Paris, but there were aspects that I still found a bit scary. On this last trip, DS and I were amazed at how comfortable we were there, and I look forward to going again...hopefully soon
I'm really looking forward to your Paris trip report!!

Just to let you know the 'Never walk alone' song is an anthem for Liverpool fans. Therefore your Mancunian mates on your table were justifiably riled if they were Man U fans, especially if he was singing it in their faces trying to get a reaction I expect! Will read the rest tomorrow, looks very interesting
