Scooter: Others on this forum have mentioned www.londonservicedapartments.co.uk
as a site to search for serviced apartments.
I just took a quick peek and there are some economy apartments listed.
The problem you might have is finding a place you like within the budget limit you have set. $150 US is about £93 and apartments for 4 people run higher than that.

Scooter: WE are a family of four going to London in July. We have a quad ensuite room at the Euston Plaza Hotel booked for 179 pounds a night. You could book a quad room at the Elizabeth Hotel, Eccleston Square for 108 pounds a night through LondonNights.com. Another website to check is Hotel-UK.com. Good luck. Maria

P.S. Do you care about location, air-conditioning, or how many stars the hotel has? That will make all the difference in the rates.

Just to add another option, you might consider bidding on Priceline in the Mayfair zone. The four star hotel that keeps coming up frequently is the Thistle Royal Horseguards for $70/night. You can bid on two rooms at one time, and even with the $5.95 processing fee, if you are successful, you'll come under your $150 per night budget.

This specific hotel is a deluxe 4 star hotel and the nicest one in the Thistle chain.
