You mean public bus or excursion bus? there are tour buses from London that do Stonehenge - Bath, often with a stop at the stunning gardens between Salisbury and Bath - the name of which escapes me
Excursion buses mean often a very early reveille and a very late return
Just for transportation i'd take the train to Salisbury then bus to Stonehenge several miles outside of town
then take the direct train between Salisbury and Bath
For bus www.nationalexpress.co.uk i think but someone will have a more comprehensive bus site i would think

for how to get from London to Stonehenge, then it's a simple trip to Bath by train BUT NOTE there is nowhere to put luggage at Salisbury
I do recommend going to Avebury

I had a great time in my 2005 trip by taking the train to Salisbury, and using www.vicstaxi.com to go where I wanted - which included Avebury, stonehenge, salisbury, old sarum, west kennet longbarrow and silbury hill. It could have included bath if I wanted to, but I'd been.

I think from your other threads you want to go from London to Bath and then Bath up to Scotland (w/o going back to London).
If so, where to leave your luggage is an issue.
You might do better to do a day trip from London to Salisbury/Stonehenge and back. Then Later when you are leaving London - take the train to Bath and then after Bath, fly from Bristol to Edinburgh.

Thanks a lot for your ideas. I'll probably do the following:
1. Train London - Salisbury.
2. Bus Salisbury - Stonehenge and back.
3. Train to Bath.
4. Fly from Bristol to Edinburgh.
Now, where can I find all my train stations, bus sations, and timetables ? Also, what should I take to get from Bath to Bristol airport ?

<i>1. Train London - Salisbury.

Again, the issue here is - ther's no LEFT LUGGAGE facilities at the Salisbury train station. Unless you are traveling very light, OR you are staying in Salisbury overnight; otherwise I don't know what you're going to do with your luggage.

PalenQ has already given you part of the answer. Nationalrail.co.uk will give you info on trains and train stations.
For Salisbury-Stonehenge, the only possible way is take The Stonehenge Tour which picks pax up at the Salisbury train station.

OK - You are leaving your luggage in London while staying overnight in Bath (1) and Edinburgh (at least 2)?
If so, you won't have a problem. To get from Bath to Bristol Airport you can take a train to Bristol and then a coach to the airport.
Or you can take a coach w/ a change in Bristol. Depending on the coach you pick it takes between 2 and 2.5 hours.

Thanks for your replies. I am planning to spend 1-2 days in Bath, and about 4 in Scotland, 3 of them driving to Inverness / Loch-Ness. Does it sound like a good plane ?
I would gladly take a train Bath - Edinburgh, but I suspect it is very slow and rob me of a full day.
