LONDON PUB CRAWL
We will be in London for the first weekend in June. Has anyone done the London Ghost Walk affiliated with the "Big Bus"? Or can anyone suggest a delightful pub crawl do to, short of just visiting random pubs. Thanks----

I'd also recommend www.fancyapint.com - run by a bunch of blokes who seem to do othing but go to every London pub and drink the beer and eat the food, then rate each one. A very handy site - pix and everything - and they have a number of recommended crawls based on what section you're staying in. The "find a pub" locator with a tube-stop search option is brilliant... Have a great time!

Also try this website: http://www.clem.clement.btinternet.co.uk/crawls.HTM
It has a bunch of different ones to try.

If you'll be out embibing, keep in mind that in London most of the pubs stop serving food by 8:30-9:30 at night, it's not like in France or Spain, where places are open and serving until all hours. We did our own pub crawl, but the organized ones got good reviews from others. Have fun.

Original London Walks has a variety of pub walks as well if you are interested in a walking tour in different neighborhoods of London.

You can also download a free verison for you PDA from their website - so you can carry it around London with you.
The London Walks are great, but their pub walks are structured more as a guided walk with stops at three pubs - not technically a pub crawl.
