London Pass and other Questions

Please accept my apologies for posting the wrong web site address for the London Pass. That's the address that worked for me last summer! I wonder if there have been major changes, or even elimination of the pass, since then.

I also want to reiterate that there is no overlap that I can detect between the museums that are now free and the museums that participate in the London Pass. When I was in London last summer, we bought the 6-day London Pass and spent one week visiting those places (Tower, Zoo, Kew, Aquarium, Dali, Kensington, etc.) and another week visiting the many wonderful free museums.

The places that have become free since then, such as the V&A, were not on the London Pass to begin with.

Does anyone have a list, or a link to a list, of the places that have recently eliminated their admisisons fees?

This information is invaluable. Thanks so much. Is there any place I should just see or eat at that might be overlooked because it is my first visit?

Ben: As I understand it, we should get a weekly zone 1 & 2 pass when we get to London (good fro 7 days) and have a photo ready for it. And only the national museums are free, which aren't included in the London pass anyway.

For 5.10 Pounds you can buy an LT one-day tube pass (see http://www.londontransport.co.uk/ftt_ltcard.shtml) with NO time restrictions for travel on the Tube, Buses in Greater London displaying the London Bus Service sign, Tramlink and Docklands Light Railway within Zones 1-2. This seems like the way to go.
