London Museum Passes
Any recommendation on purchasing Museum Passes ahead of time prior to a trip? We like the convenience of already having it purchased, plus moving ahead of lines.
Is it possible to purchase individual museum passes 1-2 days prior while their and still avoid the queues? Thanks Brent

Janis--thanks for all your info; between you and Patrick you are either providing all my info. (or correcting something!) which I appreciate; does it make sense to pre-order tickets to the Tower at their web site (I see you can order "combo" tickets to other Royal sites, as well).
Thanks!

marymarra: Some people like to buy everything from home but I really don't see the advantage most of the time. Buying Tower tix ahead of time won't save you any money. You can buy them and the combo versions at tube stations after you are in London. Or, if you go at opening time, which is best, there aren't any lines to speak of anyway.
