I found a deal through travelstay.com at the following hotel: Montana Hotel London
16-18 Argyle Square, King's Cross, London, England, WC1H 8AS.

Does anyone have experience or feedback on this hotel? Is it too far from central London or maybe in an unsafe area? Any feedback is appreciated.

Check tripadvisor.com for this hotel. It seems to get pretty reasonable reviews.

I, personally wouldn't stay in King's Cross. Although every part of London goes through a renaissance every few years, this area CAN be a bit rough. A little far from central London.

Our student/chaperone group of 15 just stayed in King's Cross at Alhambra Hotel, (I recommend it www.alhambrahotel.com) just off Euston Road and across the street from King's Cross Tube and St. Pancreas train station. The area was not so great at night, but nothing horrible. We were on guard and didn't linger. During the day, the area was fine.

King's cross the WC1 part isn't so bad actually, but maybe if you advised your budget alternatives could be offered. It is pretty central though.

Hi
If you're looking for information on a specific hotel, it will help to catch the eye of someone who knows it if you put the name of the hotel in your heading. When I read your title I thought maybe you would be inquiring about weather or attractions in December.
Best of luck
