London hotel rec's
Hello,
I am posting for some friends that need your expert advice.
They are in their early 30's and enjoy a hip, lively scene and like to party. They will be in London for 2 nights and the max they want to pay is $300/night.
Any suggestions for hotels or parts of London that would fit the bill? We can't help them because we usually aren't partying when in Europe
Thanks in advance!

Try the Rathbone Hotel in Rathbone Street W1. They have rooms from about £135 but you don't mention dates so could be more. The hotel is not hip but the area is lively and within easy reach of livelier places.

I would suggest the Hoxton Hotel, it is a funky new hotel in a party area and great deals are possible.
Other option might be the Zetter in Clerkenwell but it might be too expensive.
I have not stayed in either of these places but they looked intriguing when I researched a recent trip!

You still haven't clarified if you are using US $, Canadian $, Aussie or NZ $, or even Hong Kong $.
This sign "$" is also used for the Mexican peso, in addition to all the other currencies I named.
