London hotel/B&B for 1st anniversary?
We live in England, so we know it's expensive, but we're looking to find a romantic place to stay for around $150 a night. I've looked at all the other posts and we can't justify spending $200-300 a night on a hotel room. If you have any suggestions, we'd really appreciate it! Thanks so much!

You would likely be able to get a 5* hotel on Priceline for a total amount that comes in under your limit. You could not pick out the hotel in advance, but it would be hard to go wrong with any 5* in a well-located zone.
Since you are in the UK, you might find the site http://www.cleverbidding.co.uk helpful.

we were just in london for our anniversary and stayed in south kensington at the Ramada Kensington Jarvis.WHile it's not a B & B, it sure felt like one! ROom was lovely-more like a private home-fantastic breakfast and a quiet, beautiful and convenient location! The cost was either 90 or 95 pounds. We would stay there again- it was beautifully decorated and very clean. Enjoy your anniversary!

Londonnights.com is offering The Cranley (a superb small 4* hotel) for 115 pounds (incl. tax and breakfast).

The Cranley Hotel universally gets good reviews and occasionally pops up for bidding on www.luxurylink.com (their listings are always world-class).

I was JUST about to post about the Cranley! Probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. Great location in South Kensington, very convenient to tube & close to museums & shopping.
The rooms are lovely, and the sitting room is very inviting. We were there over Christmas, and loved coming back to the homey sitting room with fireplace and daily newspapers - and tea served in the afternoon, and canapes and Champagne served at 7! The breakfast was also fabulous - served in your room, with fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, pastries, choice of french press coffee or hot chocolate.
Wonderful choice for anytime, particularly your anniversary! Great hotel, good service, and Champagne every night!
(We had a rate of 90GBP/night for a double, including breakfast AND taxes, which we found on londonnights.com)
