I second the Morgan as a good choice. I have stayed there many times, both alone and with my wife, and it is a very good hotel. Family run and well located to central London. One hint (unless things have changed in the last few months)they take cash only, no credit cards. If you need a bit more space than a normal room they also have apartments in an adjacent building. <BR>The address is 24 Bloomsbury Street, London, WC1B3QJ and phone is 071.636.3735

Either Curt or this forum has a bad case of the hiccups. He not only seconded the Morgan, he thirded it, he fourthed it, and kept right on going.

You didn't say how many were in your party, but if you can get by without en suite facilities, the Regent Palace at Piccadilly Circus is far and away the best value in London. I went last November traveling alone. For a minimun stay of 5 nights, I received a single room inclusive of a full English breakfast (a BIG meal), AND dinner from the buffet in the fine main restaurant, 5 courses, and the VAT for 43.50 pounds per night. It was comfortable, well run and the most central location available. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a Forte hotel and they have a toll free number.
