London Hotel

I'm looking for an affordable (approx. USD$75-100) yet safe and clean hotel in London. Any suggestions?

Also, look back - way back - through this forum. I think you'll find several much earlier discussions of this question. We just stayed at the Morgan, around the corner from the British Museum. It think it is within your price range. Good place. Also check the Fodor's listings - that's where we found it. There were others. And also, there is a B&B website for London, which my brother used and found very satisfactory - all kinds of price ranges.

I second the Morgan as a good choice. I have stayed there many times, both alone and with my wife, and it is a very good hotel. Family run and well located to central London. One hint (unless things have changed in the last few months)they take cash only, no credit cards. If you need a bit more space than a normal room they also have apartments in an adjacent building.
The address is 24 Bloomsbury Street, London, WC1B3QJ and phone is 071.636.3735
