London Heathrow Terminal 1 - Everything Up for Auction!
https://www.independent.co.uk/travel...-a8315766.html
For years, most trans-Atlantic travelers landed in London's Heathrow Airport's Terminal 1 - once a gem and showpiece of the airport world when first opened in the 1969. But, now the terminal is oudated and slated for demolition and everything in it - everything organizers say (apparently including the loos!) is up for auction; the organizers have been amazed at the interest even in seemingly mundane items. So if you want a piece of memorabilia of old Terminal 1 act fast!

We really wanted one of those "International Arrivals" signs for the entrance to our driveway, but good Lord! They went for about 3,000 - 4,000 GBP apiece! So far out of our price range for something that would never be morethan a curiosity for us (and that would have to survive living in the outdoors).Oh. Well.
