London GTG late September?

I'm coming back to London in September for 6 nights and would love to fit in a GTG. Arrive Thurs morning 25 Sept. and fly out to Venice on Oct 1st.

The only times I'm currently booked up are Sunday (28 Sept) from about 9AM - 2:30 PM-ish, and Monday night. (29 Sept)

I may have something Tuesday but nothing definite and it would only be in the afternoon.

Other than those - everything is fungible

I just learned a new word ~ (after being quite certain the next post would be "darn autocorrect!")
Thank you.

Would have loved to, but could only do the evening of the 29th (I'm flying out of Gatwick the following morning for another road trip exploring Bosnia & Herzegovina).

Maybe next time... but here's wishing you a wonderful time, I hope your ankle is fully recovered now, and I shall look forward to your trip report. All the best janis.

Janis, I arrive on Wednesday, the 24th, and leave for York on Monday morning, the 29th. Don't really have much planned for evenings although we will go to the theater one night. We have quite a list of things we would like to do, but the only thing booked is a Buckingham Palace tour on Thursday afternoon.

I would enjoy a GTG.

I'm usually in London around this time, but this year I went late July/August. Next year, I'll travel late spring or September once again. Hate to miss out on the GTG.

Two trips to the UK in a year in addition to your evening at the Royal Opera ( which sounds absolutely wonderful ) I'm jealous.

Oh - that would be great if you could make it carolyn. (I'm going to the Palace too -- on Sunday) Jamikins/Bikerscott/Patrick are good 'pub choosers' so if we can work out a time that works for everyone . . .

julia: Have a great time in Bosnia. Next time.

Normally I'd say Thurs evening is out - but I'm flying business for a change so I might sleep on the plane. Maybe, possibly, hopefully.

historytraveler - I'll probably be back to London next May or June.

topping -- My Tuesday schedule is now a bit firmer. I'll only be busy at lunch time so the rest of the day is open.

We just got back so of course we would miss this but it would have been nice to meet you all in person. Maybe next time when we head out to California, we can to a get together there.

As Latedaytraveler says, will be looking forward to your trip report.

Well, I am free in that time period, certainly, and no preference as to dates - 25 or 26 in the evening? What sort of thing do we have in mind? Downstairs at the Coal Hole again?

ooh - that would be good.

I have a couple of things during the day on Fri but am free after about 6PM-ish.

Normally I'd nix Thurs - arrival day/jetlag and all. But I'm flying Business and have a great flight schedule for a change so I'll probably be vertical at least a while Thurs evening.
