Well we ain't slumming it I guess - looks like a neat place - I have a penchant for looking over historic pubs and will add this one to my list - are you booking a table for two?

Patrick, I'm reminded of my visit to The George with you, BikerScott and Jamikins almost exactly 2 years ago, and then the early morning visit to Billingsgate Fish Market. Very much enjoyed both places

My niece, her husband and young daughter just Landed in London today as part of a 10 day visit to England and Wales. I was showing them the photos of that visit this past Sunday, and as part of a recommendation for a walk through and around Southwark, suggested The George as an interesting place to visit for a sip.

Wish I was there this year to join you all.

ooh -- I saw Mathieu's post but not Patrick's. Maybe I was keep walking???

Patrick - I'm good for either day.

Or - we can skip it if you want. I'd love getting together w/ you but we did meet up in May and I'll be back in London either sometime around the Holidays or (more likely) in mid-February, and we can try for a larger GTG then.

I'm tentatively planning a mid-February London sojourn too - not sure it will work out but... OMG!

My family doesn't want to come along, so I will decline, also. It would be fun to meet you, Janis and Patrick, but maybe another time when more people can attend.
