Sorry for the typo! I have a sticky keyboard. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Here is the link to the flat that I have secured. From their info, it indicates that it would cost more than the price I was quoted for the last week in July--definitely high season.

I'm paying 626 pounds for this one:

I was quoted 570 pounds for this one: http://www.absoluteaccommodations.co...y%20Apartments (this one is the one with the two twin beds and yellow)

Both are for studio flats. I would suggest emailing them for info, with your requirements and dates. Both of the flats that they told me were available for the dates I needed are quoted on the site for a higher rate than what I was quoted when I emailed them. Good luck deciding.

Just an update as I saw this come to the top. I ended up with a less expensive flat renting with London Guest Suites. I was adding up everything that I was spending and what I was going to spend while traveling and started to have some heart palpations.

Just saw this - I ended up with this apartment - nothing as posh or nice but needed to cut back on the budget part. property code - 1645 - I have been very happy with the service and it is nice they are on the west coast as far as if I need to call etc (have not had to). Will report back - hope it is not in a horrid area etc.

As a follow-up on my rental, the apartment was quite nice. It was on the 5th floor with a lift. The balcony looked out on an alleyway, but it was fine. They had it ready and waiting for us when I arrived and it was easy to leave, with the keys hung on the back of the door and door closed as I left.

It was a 5 minute walk to Notting Hill Gate tube stop or Queensway. Perfectly respectable, clean and convenient, and for London, a good price.

While I didn't stay in that flat, I have stayed at one of the B+Bs they mention on Pembroke Gardens. it is a lovely area, close to Notting hill and Portobello Road. It overlooks a small garden area so its VERY quiet and safe. We really liked the area and if we went back to London we'd definitely consider it.
