London B&B
Any suggestions for a B&B in London, preferably in Kensington, but doesn't have to be. Cheaper is better, but we'd like a place that is clean, convenient to the underground.

One that sticks out in the book is Home Number 18 (doesn't give the address). The nearest tube station is Kensington High Street. The B&B is only a short walk from Kensington's many shops and restaurants and is not far from Kensington Palace, Knightsbridge and the museums. Not sure of the rate but imagine it will be around £35-£50 per person per night.
You can call them on +44 (0)20 8742 9123 or Toll Free in the US and Canada on 011 800 852 26320.

I`m going to London on Wednesday, and think I have found a nice B&B in the area(£48 for a single ensuite):
Quality Hotel Kensington
Address : 25 Courtfield Garden City : London - Kensington
Post Code : SW5 0PG
The best price for this hotel was on:
www.discountcityhotels.net
It looks good, but one really does not know beforehand - if you're interested, I can give a feedback when I get there.

We find www.smoothhound.co.uk a excellent site for B&B's. I always like to be able to see what the room etc. looks like and then check it out at www.tripadvisor.com
Good luck.

HI
In the little Search this Forum box above, type <Arosfa>.
You should come up with my comments (perhaps other people's comments if there are some) regarding my stay there this past January. Bloomsbury location, 7 minute walk to the Tube.
A double room at the time was 50-something pounds. Place is clean and pleasant, (private)bathrooms tiny.

If you are going when the universities are out, try looking up the London School of Economics on the web. I am told they have good, clean accomodation when the students are gone and that the price is right.
