There is some problem with my computer. My original message didn't appear in Travel Talk, but the correction did!
My message was this:
I am thinking of spending about a month in London. I have chosen a B&B at Harrow, by the name London B&B, run by Bruce and Tara. Their website is good and the guest-book has people raving about their breakfast and bedrooms. Has any one of you stayed there? If the answer is yes, what are your views? Do you recommend any other B&B in the same price range with similar comforts( ensuite spacious bedroom for two at 44 pounds)?

Harrow is pretty far outside the center of London. £44 double ensuite is definitely a decent price - but you are saving partly because of the realtive inconvenience. You will spend a lot more on transport and it will take more time to get anywhere. If that is not an issue for you - if the place looks nice, go for it.

But for not much more than that you could rent a studio apartment with a full bath and a kitchen or kitchenette right in central London. And since you are staying a month you can probably negotiate a discount.

do a google search for self catering in London and you will find a lot but here are a couple to get you started

http://www.holiday-rentals.com/index...perty/2008.cfm This studio is terrific for the cost. For 4 weeks it would only be £37 to £42 per night depending on the month you are traveling. It is in Victoria which is a VERY convenient central neighborhood.

http://www.holiday-rentals.com/index...perty/2008.cfm This is a full 1-bdrm in Nottinghill for about £55 per night (I know that is more than the B&B but it is large and in a great neighborhood)
