No way. Do NOT stay somewhere that the owner expects you to pay for the electricity and internet. Those should be included and the pay as you go system only acts against you. You will get screwed with this system whether for 10 quid or 50, but you will get screwed. We did with a "pay as you go" cell phone we didn't even use for outgoing calls.
Plus, that apartment is tiny - did you not read where I wrote "[a] square meter is 10.5625 square feet"? 30 sqm is less than 317 square feet. My living room is larger than that and you're going to choose an apartment of that size for FOUR people?
Get on the internet and go googling. There are so many holiday/rental flats available in London and you're only scratching the first layer of snowflakes on the iceberg with your repeated forays onto airbnb.com.

It is one room w/one bed - a HORRIBLE idea for a family IMO. Dresser plonked down next to the fridge across from the double bed. It is TINY. That 30 sq meters includes the bathroom! Plus it isn't in that convenient a location.
I'd go ahead rent the Camden place - before any delay and it gets booked up. No need to faff about leaving luggage in a London Hotel - then out to LegoLand then back to a London hotel.
I suppose you realize Legoland is in Windsor. There is more than enough to keep you busy there for two days. Amazing castle, river, parks AND Legoland. You don't want to go to Legoland on your arrival day - jetlag. Book a family room here for 2 or 3 nights (whichever you need) http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/3...-Central-hotel.
No need for a car. Spend time in Windsor/Legoland and then head to Heathrow by cab or bus and take the tube into London and to the Camden flat.

Thank you to all those that have helped in responding to my questions, we have BOOKED!!!!
We will fly into London and go and stay at Travelodge Windsor (Thanks janisj) for a couple of days, then Legoland and then to the Camden apartment.
YAY, London accommodation done, now I need to look into Paris!
Thank you again to the Fodorites for your opinions and for taking the time to respond.

That will be a great start for your holiday. Glad the travelodge worked out. It is very close to the train station for your trip into London as well as the Castle and High Street. I'd probably take a cab to Legoland -- just so the kids get the experience of riding in one w/ the jump seats and all. Legoland is only about 2 miles from the travelodge
