Lofoten ferry
Hi, can someone help me with the ferry schedule from Bodo to Moskenes? I can' seem to understand the website. I would like to know departure times to and from. I would appreciate any clarification. Thanks.

Using the following URL: http://ruteinfo.thn.no/en/default.aspx?rnr=86
Click the second tab indicating the summer timetable.
The heading, "D," means daily. The heading, "DX7," means daily except the 7th day, which is Sunday. The heading, "DX6," means daily except the 6th day, which is Saturday.
The headings, "Landegode," "Bodo" and "Vaeroy" are names of ferries.
As an example, the far left column of both schedules indicate that you can depart every day of the week from Bodo at 00:45am (just after midnight) and arrive at Moskenes at 4:15am. Similarly, you can depart every day of the week from Moskenes at 6:00am and arrive at Bodo at 9:15am.
Notice that some ferries are faster than other ferries.
I've learned from other threads here that it's possible to make reservations only if you are taking a car on the ferry. There is never an issue getting on board if you don't have a car and arrive on time.
Hope this helps!

One other question if I wanted to take the longer ferry ride past the other two islands, it looks like there is only one and it leaves at 4:30am. Is that correct, and when does it reach Moskenes?

Sorry that I'm responding so late, anjun. I haven't seen the ferry schedule you're referring to that includes the longer route that includes the other two islands.
I have not yet been to Lofoten. I'll go there this summer. I'm spending the first few days near Kabelvag and another week near Moskenes.
