Loco2, Trainline.eu do not match Renfe

Greetings from Cordoba.

This morning I strolled down to the train station to purchase our tickets to Granada on January 3, using our Tarjeta Doradas.

Having studied both Loco2 and Trainline.eu multiple times during our planning, and having rechecked them last night, I intended to book:

Alteria 9366 10:39 - 11:17 Cordoba to Antequera
MD 13922. 1:37 - 3:12. Antequera to Granada (I assume by bus)

Thus a bit more than 2 hrs in Antequera to explore .....

However, the ticket agent at the Cordoba station looked puzzled at my notes, and at the relevant screen on Trainline.eu on my Phone, and said the trains did not exist.

He booked us, for 23.10euro each with our TD, on Ave 2092 at 11:27 to Antequera and then after
just 20 minutes in Antequera, on bus 88092, arriving in Granada at 1:30. So the trip is two hours shorter but alas we lost or time in Antequera.

I have checked yet again both Loco2 and trainline, which show our intended trains. I have now also checked the Renfe site, which does NOT show our intended train, and indeed bears little resemblance to the Loco2 and trainline.eu schedules from Cordoba to Granada on Jan 3.

So, either the two OTA are not loading the Renfe schedule correctly, or I have messed something up on my use of the sites (though I note they were spot on for schedules for the tickets I purchased last week for 2017 dates.)

Thoughts?

That's odd. When I look at the Renfe site I see the 10:39 train but not the 11:27!

BTW, the last time I was in Spain I found it was cheaper to buy over the internet rather than at the train station (and yes, there is an option for your TD).

Okay, for what it is worth, I checked www.bahn.de (German railway site that - usually - has all the Europe train schedules.)

For 3 January, there was a

10:54 Cordoba to Sevilla arriving 11:38
change trains
11:45 to Granada arriving 15:12
Which is a longer journey than the one you have booked.
They showed an earlier journey train leaving 07:40 and going via Antequera, a 40 minute layover, arriving Granada 10:53.

Best option was leave Cordoba 13:40 via Antequera connecting at 14:40 arriving 16:10.

Couldn't find the 11:27 departure on bahn.de

Couldn't find your 11:27 departure listed.

I am now utterly confused. And a bit worried about exactly what we have tickets for.

So Bahn.de does not match loco2or trainline.eu or Renfe. Very odd.

II am on my iPad so a bit limited, but go to the Renfe.com website in Safari , tap “welcome” to switch to English, and the In the Trips tab enter Cordoba, Granada, and select Jan 3. And then hit “buy”to see the train schedule options.

What am I doing wrong? This does not bode well for the rest of our trip....

That is odd. If I ask for Cordoba - Granada I get the 11:27. But when I ask for Cordoba - Antequera I don't get it.

i have noticed that the only trains Renfe is showing are connections to Ave trains. And the train we are ticketed on is Ave 2092 from Madrid to Malaga. And that appears in the search.

No sign of any of the Alteria trains shown elsewhere.
