This is our plan for Lisbon, in the last week of the year. I made it based on visiting hours and the location of the sites. However, I am not sure that I'll have enough time to visit all I want in each day, so your opinion will be very helpful for us.
I understand that on 1st of January the public transport runs, is oit right?
Our hotel is near Rossio Square.

Sunday - arriving early in the morning after night flight.
Walk on: Praca de Commercio, Rossio Square, Av. de Liberdade, Marquis de Pombal Park
Visit Glubekian museum

Monday- Mafra Palace in the morning
Bridge Vasco de Gama in afternoon, view Portugal Pavilion

Tuesd.- Belem (Jeronimus Monastery, Discovery Monument + elevator, Belem Tower (exterior only), Coach Museum
- Ajuda Palace
- 25 April Bridge + Christo Rei monument

Wednesday - Alfama:
St. Jorge Castel, Monasterio St Vicente,Tile museum, Decorative art Museum, Se Cathedral, Rua Augusta

Thursday - Sintra ( Pena castle,Quinta de Regaleiga ,National Palace , Castelo dos Moros
- Queluz Palace

Friday - 31 Dec .
- Fronteira Palace
- Anastacio Goncalves museum of decorative art
- NYEve celebration

Saturday - 1st of Jan. - Cascais + Cabo del Boca

If you're arriving from the USA,I would not visit Gulbenkian Museum on your arrival day . I think it would be too much even if you're coming from the east coast. It is a real treasure and needs more energy than you'll have
upon arrival.
In Belem, why only the exterior of the Tower? I recommend you tour the tower.It's a significant historical building and it's interesting to see the interior and the views out from there..
I am confused about the bridges. Are you going to ride across them?
Also, we loved the tile museum, Museu do Azuelos which you list. Another one I recommend is Museo do Fado.

I visited the tower 19 years ago, when I was in Lisbon 2 days, before going to Porto for business.

For sure I do not want to cross Vasco de Gama bridge, just to see it. Not sure about 25 April Bridge, can I see well the big statue of Christ without crossing the bridge?

Yes, I took quite a few photos of the statue of Christ from the other side of the river and did not cross the 25 April bridge.
We drove on the Vasco Da Gama bridge because it took us where we needed to go.
Make sure you visit the Gulbenkian Museum another day(closed MOnday.)

Monday. The Av Liberdade to Marquês de Pombal sq is a long walk. Marquês de Pombal park doesn't exist. It's most likely the Edward 7th Park. I wouldn't do either, since it´s the kind of walk and parks you may find everywhere. The Commerce sq, the Rossio square and the streets in between (Rua Augusta mainly) have enough fun to spend a half a day. Get the Santa Justa elevator to the top to see the views. Take a seat outdoors of Pastelaria Suiça or the National Theatre coffee shops, both overviewing Rossio square and magnificent places to do ppl watch. In the day of my arrival, I thing it is the best to stay in places close to each other, than walking long distances. From the top of Santa Justa elevador, you may get a glimpse of Chiado and Bairro Alto, without walking too much.
I agree with Valtor. Fado Museum is nice to see and fits nicely in the Alfama visit.
If you are going to former expo98 grounds (Pav of Portugal) include a visit to the Oceanarium (Aquarium)
