Susan what was the problem with airport connection? I was going to book with them, but I think that I'll try limo service rome instead. One question, though: has anyone else been reluctant to send their credit card info by email (would not be a secure sight). I want to book this weekend.
Thanks,
Les

A note of warning: most limousine services won't wait for you if your flight is delayed. The new Condé Nast Traveler has an Ombudsman article about that happening to a couple whose flight was 2 hours late; they were met by a 39-passenger bus, all the limo company had at that time.

Sorry to hear about your negative experience with airport connection. I've never had a ny problem with them. I hope you will e-mail them to let them know, maybe they will refund or credit you something.
I too just returned from Rome on 5/20 and used them to pick us up at the airport and return us back to FCO on our departure however I once again had no problem their service. I'll be going back in Oct. and will use them again
We were lucky to have booked their shuttle service because when we arrived that day there was a taxi strike and I know it was a mess for many passagers trying to get to the destinations after a long flight.
Hope the rest of your trip was pleasent.

Booked Airport Connection shuttle 2 for E25 from FCO to hotel about 4 days before flight. I didn't send credit card as not secure, planning to pay cash. Received email confirmation.
Arrived a few minutes early and waited about 10 minutes outside customs until a driver walked up pulling out a sign with my name. He took us to a car--I asked shuttle? and he said car. In my usual overnight flight daze I thought, who cares, I'll pay for car at this point. Anyway, off we go to the hotel. Easy drive, but he used a mix of a/c and open windows and I could have used all a/c. Had to circle a couple of blocks, but found the hotel. I pulled out my printed confirmation email and he said car same price as shuttle as no other customers. So we got a private car for E25 by chance.
Later I heard from my husband. On the online form it asks for name, address, phone, flight number, etc. I put in my home phone. At the time we were to land, someone from Airport Connection called my home (3:30am) and asked my husband where we were. He had looked online to ensure our plane took off the night before so he told them we were probably at the airport and my cellphone would not work in Italy.
I assume the driver went to the wrong arrival hall amd that was why he walked up a little later just taking the sign out.

We used Airport connection for pick up and departure. Friendly and efficient. My only mino complaints were that we were picked up with a Merecedes van and not a car and the driver forgot the credit card machine when we left (paid cash).
They did not add a surcharge for leaving earlier and found us even in the car rental return area (we were 45 minutes late returning our car at FCO)no additional charge.

Well, I had an odd/strange/bad experience with Limoservice Rome before we even left the states, and so we didn't use them. After making the reservation online and receiving an email confirmation, someone named Bob called the house the following day and spoke to the wife. Apparently, he was "double confirming" the reservation and then launched into a number of instructions as to how to move about the Rome airport. The wife, being an experienced traveler, felt his "airport tips" were being delivered in a condescending manner because she was a woman, which precipitated an argument in which they hung up on each other. I should mention that my wife works in customer service, and therefore knows both good and bad customer service when she sees it. I'm also not sure why they would call with a reconfirmation less than 24 hours after sending me an email confirmation and why they would call with "tips" during the day on Wednesday, when there is little likelihood of anyone being home. The wife was randomly burning a vacation day before the start of their new fiscal year. At any rate, we quickly cancelled after that and used someone else.
