Thanks everyone for your replys. I have mailed wine within Pa (i ordered it from a local winery, and had it sent to friends for christmas). Does anyone have any suggestions for some good liquor to bring back? My father wants something "good" and on the strong side. I would prefer to bring back somthing that we cannot get in the USA. Also are the prices of items such as hennisy and tanqueray cheeper in europe?

Cognac was marginally less expensive when I purchased it at Remy Martin, but the savings were probably not much more than 10% compared with getting it at a Duty Free shop. An interesting bottle to bring back that is not particularly common in many U.S. cities is Calvados, which is something on the order of an apple brandy that is made in the Normandy region. It's very good and it can definitely be on the strong side, too. I'm sure others will have some suggestions.

After ten days in Spain, we found we'd accumulated more than we could consuume while there - about 10 bottles of delicious wines that we knew we'd not find back here! we wrapped them in newspaper & plastic, put them in our roll-ons and have throroughly enjoyed every bottle!
