Limerick as a base

As is true with most questions, the answer in part is, "it depends." For example, some of the best traditional Irish music I heard was in puns in Dingle (Might Sessions) and Galway (Crane Bar). Would I be at all interested in having to drive back to Limerick after a night of music? Absolutely not.
I understand the attraction of a free hotel room. However, do you really want to spend several hours a day in your car, going back and forth? I took a bus tour of Connemara, out of Galway, which was fabulous. It got me back to Galway around 6 p.m. I would not have been in the mood to then drive back to Limerick. However, these are all based on my prefences, and yours may be different.
Those are just some factors to consider. Keep the questions coming.

The distances are not far but the driving is not like here.
Ennis to Killarney is appx 58 miles = 1.5-2 hours, Ennis to Galway is appx 45 miles = 1hr sometimes slightly more, Ennis to Cork is appx 70 miles figure 1.5-2 hours.
So its doable. You can take the road to Galway via Lahinch going round the coast and come back on the main road its a nice drive

Limerick is a decent base (even handy for SNN when you fly over to Scotland for Galloway) with good road links to your listed options. The Raddison is a decent hotel although the group are on my personal black list.
How many "free" nights do you have and how many other nights do you have on the island?

Personally, the Radisson would be a bit too "middle of nowhere" for me. Unless you really want to use it as a base only, and are not interested in going out in LImerick at night (not much of a drive, but different than staying really in town). BTW.. Limerick has improved quite nicely during the last years.. more pedestrian zones, nice cafes, pubs..
For day trips to West Clare, the Cliffs, Ennis, etc. the location is good. Also Galway is not much of a drive. And a daytrip to Cork is quite doable.
Just the big trip to Killarney + Ring of Kerry would be a bit too much for my taste - but I think one could still consider it doable.
Just in case you want to see "tourist-free", real Ireland, you can also do a scenic drive around Lough Dergh (not my pic, but one of the many which have been taken on the most spectacular outlook over the lake):
