LGW Hotel

Hello, everyone! I have an overnight layover at London Gatwick. Does anyone know of a cheap hotel at the airport? Also, is there any way I won't have to pick up my bags? Thanks!

Go to Biddingfortravel.com and look up the list of Priceline hotels near Gatwick. You can also see winning bid prices. You can't beat PL on the cost of accommodations.

Thanks, JN! To clarify my second question: I arrive at LGW at 1030PM and have a flight to the States the next day at 8:30AM. Can I check my bags all the way through without having to pick them up between flights?

That mostly depends on which airline(s) you are using . . .

I will be flying BA to London and then catching Delta the next day. Anyone know about their overnight baggage rules? Thanks!

The Arora Hotel at Crawley has some good offers a lot of the time. It is just a few miles from the airport and is a nice hotel. Crawley itself is a dump but I stayed at the Arora a couple of times last year and just stayed in the hotel.

I second the Arora hotel near Crawley. The staff and hotel are wonderful and you can take the hotel shuttle or Gatwick Express train the next morning. The train station is right next to the hotel(no, you cannot hear a thing) and its soooo easy to get to and from Gatwick.
