Left Luggage Rome

Hi
Are there lockers or a baggage check facility in the Roma Termini?

Thank you.

There are but the last time I was there they were closed. Most of the baggage check facilities were closed. You can check when you get there. They're over near the car rental and restrooms. If you're facing the tracks go to the left.

Ira - There is a manned Left Luggage store at Termini. Just follow the signs downstairs for Deposito Bagagli.

It was open last time I went a few months ago ...

Automatic lockers at Italian stations have, I believe, been closed since 11 September 2001. Big stations like Roma Termini have manual left luggage offices.

Just one little snag - the price they charge for the left luggage is, in my opinion, a bit outrageous at something like 2-3Euro per hour. THe lockers wer no longer in use. Really screwed up our plans last time we were there, but what are you gonna do.

Thanks for the heads up sjk.

We have about a 1/2 day and we do want to see some of Rome without lugging all of our baggage about. So we will have to pay the fee, I guess.

We left our bags to spend the afternoon in Rome in October. There was a VERY long line to deposit baggage. However, pick up was quick when we returned.

I didn't remember the cost as being quite that exorbitant, so I looked on the Termini website (www.termini.it). The cost per piece at the left luggage office (deposito bagagli) is 3.09 Euro for the first 5 hours and .51 Euro for each additional hour. The lockers are closed.
