Leaving Thursday for Paris!!!

Thanks to all the Fodorites for some great tips and ideas for our upcoming jaunt to Paris. My sister and I will be staying in an apartment in the Marais and have gotten many great restaurant and shopping recommendations for that area.

We plan on going to the Jacquemart-Andre Museum for brunch on Easter Sunday and also will enjoy the chocolate eggs hidden around the museum (which the website says is for adults as well as children.)

Sunday night we plan on taking the evening Segway tour around the city.

I will report on all the fun upon our return!!!

This was in Sunday's paper in the travel section. "Also, it's worth noting that CDG is under construction, so many flights are using buses to transfer passengers from the plane to the gate. This will cause extra delays."

I have never gone to CDG without the buses so construction is just the latest excuse. Still worth the effort for Paris, just make sure you don't book a close connection time if you have to catch another flight. Have fun!

I can imagine how excited you are--we're leaving Friday!!! I made reservations for dinner that night at Le Grand Cafe at 6:30 and plan to just play it by ear in the day--depending on the weather. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross. Whatever, have a great trip!
