Leaving Paris on a Sunday - Any problem getting a cab in the a.m.?
I have no idea what happened to my earlier posting asking about my choice of Marais hotels, but anyway....

I'll be departing Paris on a Sunday. I'll ask the concierge to please call a cab about 2 1/2 hours before my flight, so I'll need one at about 10:00 a.m. Are Sunday mornings any easier or more difficult to get a cab on? Anything I should be aware of?

Once again, I've narrowed my choice of Marais hotels to:

Hotel Des Chevaliers
Hotel Place des Vosges
Vieux Marais

Any comments on expeirences at these hotels, the more recent the better, would be appreciate. Thanks.
If the concierge arranges the cab for you, you will have no problems. He will probably do it right before you leave since many cabs don't take an advance reservation (like 2 1/2 hours) like that. Please note: in Europe, when you call the taxi stand, you are charged from the moment the taxi leaves the stand to pick you up. The meter will be running even before it arrives at your hotel so do keep that in mind. On Sunday, you won't have a problem getting a cab, especially if the hotel calls on your behalf.
