Leaving in two days . . . Need Hotel Advice

I am leaving for Rome, Florence, and Venice two days. Unfortunately it will be raining in Rome, but has anyone heard or stayed at any of thes hotels? Papa Germano in Rome, Hotel Dali in Florence, and Locanda Gaffaro in Venice. What did you think? Thanks

What do I think? Nothing like waiting until the last minute. That's what I think.
PS: Do you realize that your second sentence is a non sequitur? Look that up in your Funk and Wagnall's!

Bob, if I were you I would definately call these hotels and see if they have rooms still available, we booked our hotels over 3 months in advance and still had difficulty finding rooms that were in our price range and located where we wanted them. I would definately bring a long a comprehensive guide book that has loads of hotel advice given the very real possiblity that your hotels will be booked up. Good Luck.

Sorry for the confusion. We have had the reservations for a while. I just wanted to know if anyone has been to the hotels. They look nice but just wanted an opinion.

To the critic: This is a message board not the MLA Handbook. so easy killer.

I'm curious, Bob....What would you have done at this late stage if you got feedback that said your choices were bad?

Hi Bob,

I am leaving for italy on March 4. I just got my hotels for Venice and Florence last week and getting my Rome tonight. No problem. Check out www.torinohotel/it or www.hoteldiscounts very good sources. I also heard from others that have been there that you can get a hotel when you get there, if it comes down to that. Have fun.
Thanks Bob, for clearing that up. BTW have you seen if any of these hotels are listed in the Rants and Raves section of this forum? I got some great ideas for hotels by checking that. Sorry I have nto stayed in any of the hotels you have booked. Have a wonderful trip.
