Late night Mayfair

The musical ends at roughly 22.30. Where in Mayfair can you dine at 23.00 on a Saturday night?

Since the theatre likely isn't in Mayfair - which one? There are lots of late night restaurants in London but there are generally more near theatres.

Also what sort of food and what is your budget?

Theatre is in Victoria but hotel is in Mayfair - Green Park area.

Looking for something near to hotel - Half Moon Street - so close walk after dinner. Price not an issue. Quality yes.

>> what sort of food . . . <<

Langan's Brasserie is nearby and I think they take last orders at 11:00 or 11:30

Hakkasan is a high end Chinese restaurant that is open after midnight some nights of the week

Thanks janisj - food not an issue either. Taste is eclectic.

Langans take orders till 11.30 on Saturdays, and the Wolseley does till midnight.

Mostly, though, traffic is chocker around Mayfair till about 1 am on Sunday morning, but most normal eating places close earlyish. There's a lot of action around Mayfair clubs till not much earlier than dawn - both gambling and bopping - but it may not all be to your taste.

We did the Wolseley after a dance performance, and Rufus Sewell was there. It was exciting and a very nice meal.

We kind of had our escape planned from the theater to get in a taxi right away; I admit that we cut out as soon as the curtain fell and hurried to the exit.
