You were unsuccessful how? You had the correct number and had no difficulty communicating, but they had no time slots?

Or you were unsuccessful at getting the right place to call?

The number is ++ 39.02.8942.1146

If you experienced the problem in the first paragraph, I don't know what to say.

Best wishes,

Rex

My niece had called a month in advance for specifically last Wednesday as late as possible--they gave us 3:45pm. We showed up at around 3:20pm and they sent us in to join the others who had 3:15(?) slot. Then the 3:30pm was full with a Japanese tour group. So, there were some openings on that day that a walk up could get.

There is a "hopefuls" line where people wait and hope to fill any empty slots that occur as tour groups arrive and/or people with reservations fail to show up. If you get in this line after 5:00 p.m., you've got a fair chance of getting in. It worked for us (albeit in late October). We waited about 30 minutes.

If you are willing to wait around at the church for about an hour or so (bring a book and a bottle of water), there are very often no-shows. Then you can get in. This is exactly what happened to us. They are very strict about letting no more than 25 in at a time, but people often miss there reservations. Good Luck!

Hi

Call to make a reservation. My wife and I went to Milan last June and we stopped by the Santa Marie della Grazie to make the reservation personally and face to face at the ticket counter but we were told that we had to make the reservation byt phone Well, I have posted a trip report and pictures from our trip to Milan on my personal homepage gardkarlsen.com Maybe you can find some useful information there. Have a great trip.

Regards

That's funny, Gard. Too bad you didn't have a cell phone with you right there .
