You may try the Hotel Gardesana, in Torri del Benaco, on the eastern shore of the lake, relatively small driving distance to Verona.
http://www.hotel-gardesana.com/index_eng.htm

Paulo
My days of wild nightlife are unfortunately long only in my memory, Rex

Some 30+ years ago, the place to be at night on Lake Garda in the summer was undoubtely Riva ... I would guess that this would still apply today but I have a hunch that Limone may be "better" (I counted 4 discos the last time we short strolled through town). If I were on my late teens or early twenties I would surely check it out

One other place maybe worth checking out is Malcesine ... In summer, 4 out of every 5 people I've seen around were under 25 ... I bet there's much going on after dark
