Lake Como in July?

We are planning our summer Italy trip a little late and a lot of the Villa's that I am finding are booked in June. Is July just too hot or is it not to bad in the Lakes area? Thanks!

The word "hot" is a relative term. Since I live in Florida, I find the lakes area of northern Italy to be pleasantly cool, even in the middle of summer. I don't believe you will find it to be stifling hot any time of year. Good luck.

Thanks Wayne. That is very helpfully and gives us a few more options! We live in MA so we will likely still be thawing out in July!

The Lakes are seldom hot--you will love it.

beansmom, Since you are going to be in Italy in July I cannot think of a better place to be then in the Lake Area. I have been there several times in July and it is wonderful (or at least it was everytime I was there). Have a beautiful trip.
