Clarify please!
Are you talking about the village of Reichenbach im Kandertal, and an apartment on Kreuzgasse?
If so, a link would be most helpful!
Otherwise, I have stayed in this AREA, and found it to be wonderful!
What time of the year? Skiing or not?

Sorry, didn't note the April date (?THIS year?)
I stayed for two weeks in an apartment in nearby Kandersteg and made daily excursions by train (highly reco Spiez/Brienz/and the Valais valley= Loetschental).
Not sure which lifts will be open or hikes possible (April is ending ski season and before summer hiking officially begins).

hi thanks for your interest and reply. truthfully i didnt understand the meaning of the name. i relloked at the booking and you are right.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...43828540,d.Yms. this is the link and i already reserved the appartment. We want to tour around the area, on day trips and then return in the evening, doing this for seven days, then going to Zurich for the last two days of our holiday before flying home. No skiing, but a more relaxed holiday for a couple in their mid seventies.

The guesthouse loooks just beautiful!
Have you been to Sw before?
I'm interested to see what piqued yout interest in this area-
(I think its lovely, just less well-known to tourists).
Because the house IS somewhat isolated, you would definitely need a car.
As stated before, you will be in between seasons for hiking, but if this sport doesn't matter to you, it should be lovely visiting the small towns of the Kander valley, even going a little further afield to say, Lucerne.
Again I stand by my suggestions of Spiez (Oberhofen castle), and Brienz (outdoor museum Freilicht Ballenberg).
Have a great time!

For even more info.
Unfortunately the 8 person gonola up to the beautiful Oeschinensee (Glacial mountain lake) does not run between 24 March and 11 May.
