Krakow to Prague

We are flying into Krakow and out of Prague and will be renting a car to explore the country side. We enjoy medieval/smaller towns (think Rothenberg ob de Tauber) any suggestions? We have about 6 days to plan between Krakow and Prague....

I would spend 2 days in Krakow, 1 day on a daytrip close to Krakow (lots of options) and then 3 days in Prague, or again 2, and a daytrip somewhere close for the third day.

Yes, we're spending 3 days in Krakow, 4 nights in Prague, where we've been before and have between 5-6 days to do towns in and around....any suggestions on charming towns?

The psot listed above mentions both Olomouc and Ostrava. I believe that Ben Haines and others have waxed poetic about one or the other or both - - but maybe not on that particular thread.
