Krakow to Budapest transfer

8 of us need to travel from Krakow to Budapest. We decided to go via private car. Any suggested company? Any good stops along the way? Traveling at the end of July so would appreciate any suggestions.

I used Mike's Chauffeur service locally in Prague and have seen good reports of his service on this board. I had Mike as my driver although he does employ others to drive his cars. I was impressed with Mike and his service; he is courteous and professional and speaks very good English.

He also does long distance transfers. Here are his routes and prices.

That 6800 = 13600 for two cars and isn't bad. You're looking at $100 pp (17 CZK/$1) for a 6+ hour drive.

BigRuss - Budapest to Krakow is 9,000 so $132 per person for 2 cars.

I flew feom krakow to Budapest in October. I didn't want to invest the time in the road trip. The plane takes one hour but of course you have to factor in airport time

The only reason I am mentioning this is that the flight on Malev was only $117 round trip and I see the car service is more. The round trip is less expensive than a one way and you can call them after the first leg and receive a small refund of about $19. i know the prices might be higher now.

Of course, this will not afford you the opportunity to see any of the countryside.
