Korean Language Posts

Does anyone know what all the Korean language posts are about. I can't read the language, but wouldn't click on the posts to open them anyway. The way they are being posted in succession is so suspicious.

It's spam posted by a spambot. Opening one won't cause your computer any harm, but it's pointless as it's written in Korean. The posting is not suspicious as the purpose is to plaster a site with their advert, just annoying.

Also because the moderators are in the US the posts stay up all day if you are in Europe or any other time zone east or far west of the US.
Annoying but ignorable.

A google shows that the website touted in the spam is supposed to be for internet gambling. Since it may be very dangerous to your computer, don't visit it. The google also shows this is not the only site being plagued with this spam. So the mods play whack-a-mole manually against a computer spam generator. Futile.

The site administrators need to get a geek to thwart the spambot automatically. Not that Korean language spam is going to get results on an English language site. The multiple levels of futility here is indeed outstanding.

It's just so damn irritating - and who knows how many questions and responses it;s discouraging.

Why can't they find a way to block this? I can;t imagine their advertisers want potential customers diverted by this nonsense.

Yes, as someone said, this is a US forum.
TA was also assaulted some months ago but found a solution faster, I'd say.
