Killarney guesthouses

Can anyone suggest nice but not too expensive guesthouses in Killarney and Kilkenney? Thanks!

Judy, we stayed here on someone else's recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed it! Only a few-minute car ride from the center of town, this is a lovely place with warm welcoming hosts. I would stay there again.

http://www.salmonleapfarm.com/
We are going in Sept. and are staying at Crystal Springs in Killarney. My folks stayed there and loved it. Has the river behind it, very new, and cheap. Quick walk into town, and the tour bus will pick you up right in front of the house for the Gap of Dunlow, Lakes tours. I don't know the web site, however, the phone # is (064) 33272 & 31188. Also try Carriglea House, looks good. # (064) 31116. I'm sure you can do a search on the internet and find a web site. Good luck

We just stayed at Crystal Springs in Feb, and it was wonderful . Eileen was the owner and was so helpful. If you stay there try her lemon pancakes they were super. She'll help you with tours in the area and walks. Its worth the money to stay here in Killarney.
