Kerry Woolen Mills, Killarney
I'm looking for contact information for Kerry Woolen Mills in Killarney. I bought the most comfortable sweater I've ever owned in a store outside of Glencolmcille, and I'd like to order a couple more, but can't find a website for either the store or the mill. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks much.

Can't help you with a web site.
But spelling the company the way the company does throws up:
1. Kerry Woollen Mills
Beaufort
(064) 44122
2. Kerry Woollen Mills Ltd
The Mall Dingle Kerry
(066) 9152164
3. Kerry Woollen Mills Outlet Store
The Fishery Killorglin Kerry
(066) 9762243

Not sure if this'll help or not but, as far as I know, the only town of Glencolumbkille is in Donegal. Perhaps you bought your sweater at Rossan Knitwear and not at Kerry Woolen Mills?

If not, good luck in your search!

If you're shopping at Kerry Woolen Mills in Dingle, they are one of the shops that pulled the Dynamic Currency Conversion on me -- I got screwed out of 3%. I would think that the Kerry Woolen Mills in Killarney would be similar.
Be cautions to make sure you are charged for your purchases in the local currency -- don't let them do the conversion for you. They are not doing you a favor.

Thanks, Budman, for the caveat. We got ripped on this several times when over there, particularly by restaurants. Thanks, CU for the website. It's not exactly what I'm looking for. My current favorite sweater is 75% wool, 25% silk. I think that's why it's so comfortable. If I don't find what I'm after, though, I may order something through the Blarney site. As usual, I appreciate folks' willingness to help on this site. Thanks again to you all.

Halleluja! I got a response to my email to [email protected]. It seems that their phone line, and hence their email connection, had been cut and is now restored. They still have the sweaters I wanted, and I'm going to order a couple. Thanks for everybody's help.
